Let us fight this COVID-19 pandemic together. Here are a few steps for your safety and ensuring the safety of your colleagues, friends and family as well.
- Stay at home if you begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms such as headache and slight runny nose, until you recover. Inform your reporting superiors. If you develop fever, cough or difficulty in breathing, seek medical advice promptly, as this may be due to a respiratory infection or other serious condition.
- You can catch COVID-19 by touching contaminated surfaces or objects – and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Hence, wash your hands thoroughly and frequently during the day; avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- If you are within one meter of a person carrying COVID-19, you can be infected by breathing in droplets coughed out or exhaled by them. So, maintain a social distance of at least 1 metre from others.
- Call in advance and inform your immediate supervisor & site lead of any recent travel undertaken by you or contact with travellers who have travelled abroad or have symptoms like fever, cough etc.
